	1985 LH Drive Mexican 'Nostalgic' Beetle This car has had only one owner from new. It was bought from the Willer VW Dealership in Kiel in Germany and imported in January 1985 by the present owner. At that time VW Mexico produced a 'Nostalgic' series of models, supposed to replicate those made in the 1960s. All the original import documentation and number plates have been retained and a complete record of the car's life is available with the car. Since that time the car has been progressively restored by a local VW Aircooled Specialist, and has just been fitted with an exchange reconditioned REMTEC 1600cc engine, with just 300 miles running time. Restoration to date also includes: replacement of the 4 wings and bonnet, electric windscreen washers, complete recarpetting including the sparewheel area, electronic ignition, front disc brakes, aluminium wheels, lowered front suspension and a webber carb. The MOT does not expire until November 2010. The car has never been in any sort of accident and is therefore clean from any repair work.
